February 27th & 28th , 2021
First race weekend of 2021 at Sonoma Raceway and first time driving and racing a TA2 Camaro in SCCA GT2 class. Great first with Mike Skeen coaching me for my introduction to this amazing car! Qualified on the pole to start race 2 with a 1:39:8 lap time — finished in 2nd. Led the race for about 10 minutes then fell into 2nd for the remainder of the race, chasing Tim Lynn, TA2 driver. Race 1 — qualified to start 3rd and finished P-2. Overall a great weekend. Big thanks to Charlie Hayes of CHM Motorsports for the opportunity to race the car!
