Circuit of the Americas "COTA" double duty this weekend in my BMW 240IR Touring Car class and my debut in the GT4 Sprint X in the BMW M4 with co-driver and coach, John Dubets ("JCD")! Amazing first weekend GT4 racing. I qualified 2nd on the grid! AND we came in 5th place in Race 1 out of 18 competitors! Couldn't be happier with the debut race. Race 2 qualified 8th and finished 8th. This car is a beast -- 158 MPH on the back straight at COTA is exhilarating!
Touring Car TC races came in 9th in race 1 in the rain. I spun, unfortunately, setting me back and had to work half the race to go from dead last after the spin to finish in 9th. Race 2, finished 6th after starting 13th.
It was so great having the family at track side all weekend!
